Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses following the theft of a grey Audi TT S-Line Quattro from Allanbank Gardens, Lauder in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The theft happened between 2.30am and 3am.
PC Philip Moule said: “We would urge anyone who remembers seeing suspicious activity around Allanbank Gardens in the early hours of Saturday morning to contact police immediately.
“In addition, we would like to remind the public to remain vigilant in securing their vehicles and property and to report any suspicious activity to police.”
