Drivers of high-sided lorries and vans in the Borders have been urged by police to pull over and wait for storm winds to subside.
The plea comes from East division of Police Scotland an applies to drivers in the Borders,the Lothians,, Edinburgh, Fife and the Forth Valley.
Scotland is currently being battered by high winds and rain. In the Borders trees are blocking some roads and there are reports of vehicles having been blown over.
Communities on the Berwickshire coast have been warned to expect a storm surge combined with a 4pm high tide.
