A MAN who breached a community payback order was jailed for five month at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on Friday.
David Adamson, 24, formerly of Chay Blyth Place, Hawick, failed to carry out unpaid work.
Rory Bannerman, defending, said Adamson had since started a new life living at Grieve Avenue in Jedburgh and wanted to complete the order.
Imposing an jail term, Sheriff Derrick McIntyre told the accused: “You are not taking this too seriously.”
