A HAWICK man has been arrested for stealing tools and horse related items valued at £3,000 from a farm.
The thefts are reported to have happened at 6.15am yesterday at Wellogate Farm, where two stables and a container were broken into.
A 24-year-old man was found nearby and all the property recovered.
He has since been charged with two counts of theft by housebreaking, theft by opening a lockfast place and drug possession.
He is due to appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on April 5.
