BABY Indy Lucia Wiseman was special enough when she arrived last week, becoming daughter number three for Lauder couple Lynsey Gibb and Anthony Wiseman.
But it turned out that little Indy, who weighed in at 6lbs 15ozs when she made her entrance to the world at one minute past 8pm last Wednesday, was the only baby born in Borders General Hospital on what turned out to be the 12th day, of the 12th month of the 12th year of this century.
“It makes her a wee bit extra special,” said Lynsey, also mum to Olivia, six, and Ella, 18 months.
“Olivia was born in Edinburgh, but Ella was also born in Borders General Hospital and once again the staff at the hospital were absolutely fantastic,” she added.
Lynsey, who was studying radiotherapy and oncology before becoming a full-time mum, and Anthony, who works in security at Asda and Edinburgh Airport, moved to Lauder four years ago.
