The Rolling Hills Folk Club is hosting its Christmas party at the George and Abbtosford Hotel in Melrose at 8.30pm tomorrow. The club takes its name from the Matt McGinn song The Rolling Hills of the Borders, and folk nights have been held on the first and third Fridays of every month since its foundation in 2006. Peebles Folk Club takes the baton on Thursday, December 27, for its long-established song and instrumental-based sessions at the town’s Neidpath Inn.
