Tweedbank Primary School P1-3 pupils learned about “Day or Night” in a Generation Science Workshop.
Pictured taking part are Grace Moffat (P1) and Addison Bell (P3).
The children had great fun while learning some tricky scientific concepts.
P1 pupil Jarvi Lamb said: “I learned the Moon orbits the Earth. The Earth orbits the Sun. The Sun shines on one side of the Earth so that would be daytime – the other side would be night-time.” Another P1 youngster, Kaia Shuttleworth, added: “The Earth moves around the Sun. The Sun sort of pulls the Earth to it. The other side of the Earth would be night-time.”
