A Hawick teenager who denies having a dog which was dangerously out of control and attacked a four-year-old and bit her to her severe injury and permanent disfigurement, will stand trial by jury on May 19, with a first diet on April 28.
Karissa Johnstone, 19, of Eildon Road, appeared on indictment and pleaded not guilty to being in charge of an Airedale terrier at Eildon Road on May 8 last year, which jumped on a child, causing her to fall to the ground, and bit her on the head, all to her severe injury and permanent disfigurement.
