An online ‘thank you’ could net a Borderer a free car as a local radio station’s attempts to raise more money for its childrens’ charity.
Radio Borders’ new Cash for Kids fundraiser ‘Mission Thank You’ sees visitors to the station’s website send a £1 message of thanks to someone they are grateful to. They then go into a prize draw to win arguably the station’s best ever giveaway, a Volkswagen Take Up, donated by Pulman Motors.
Last year the charity helped over 600 local children and donations included Christmas presents worth over £31,000. The draw takes place on March 14.
