Kelso Laddies’ Association presented a £400 cheque to Borders General Hospital children’s ward.

The money was raised by running a cycle race during the town’s Civic Week last year.

Presenting the cheque to Dianne Matthewson, of the BGH, is association chairman Scott Forbes, right. Also in the photograph is Ritchie Allan (treasurer and secretary), left, Colin Dumma (race organiser), and Corey Wemyss and his mum, Jayne. Corey, who is one-year-old, spent time in the ward just after he was born. He is the grandson of ex-Laddie Gordon Little, who took the picture.
