6pm – Peebles Bell Ringers will start the evening off with a selection of Christmas tunes played on the parish church bells.
6pm – Funfair and market stalls will open
7.10pm – Beltane Queen, Rianna Sterricks, and Santa will be escorted from the parish church to the Tontine Square by Peebles Ex-Service Pipe Band.
MC, Keith Lomas, will greet the guests at the Tontine Square and start the countdown to the magical switch-on.
7.30pm – Beltane Queen and Santa switch on the Christmas lights
7.35pm – InChorus will sing a medley of songs. Both the pipe band and Peebles Burgh Silver Band will perform during the course of the evening
Late Night Shopping – shops and businesses in the High Street, Northgate, Eastgate, Old Town, and School Brae will be open for business, offering shoppers a fantastic opportunity to bag themselves a Christmas bargain, or a mulled wine and mince pie.
9pm – Market and funfair close
