The dedication of the Channelkirk and Lauder Garden for Reflection was performed by the Reverend John Riddell.
Session clerk Billy Anderson read the lesson.
Members from Lauder Church attended the ceremony at the garden which is located to the rear of the church grounds.
The area was prepared and furnished with financial support from Channelkirk and Lauder Church, work by Scottish Borders Council’s community service team and donations from Melrose funeral directors Thomas Brown and Sons.
The garden provides a facility for those who may wish to leave flowers, reflect quietly in peaceful surroundings, remember a loved one or consider a memorial.
