Kelso High pupil Matthew Hall handed over a defibrillator to Rector, Mrs Ruth McKay, above, at the school’s Celebration of Achievement awards evening.
Matthew raised more than £1,200 after organising a raffle to purchase the life-saving equipment. The first prize of a £3,000 painting was generously donated by Tony and Yvonne Huggins-Haig from the Art House Gallery.
