POLICE probing a number of thefts from outhouses and external cupboards in Hawick have recovered a quantity of tools.
The thefts have taken place over a number of weeks, but police say some of the items found have not been reported stolen. They want anyone who has not yet reported the theft of tools in the Hawick area to contact PC Tony Street at Hawick police station on 01450 375051.
