Marie Curie Cancer Care has launched a new fundraising event – Sideburns Night – encouraging men across Scotland to grow, groom, shape and style their sideburns in aid of local Marie Curie nurses.
Sheila Laing, community fundraiser, said: “Sideburns Night is all about putting the fun into fundraising. It is free to sign up and a good laugh through the month of January until Burns Night – Sideburns Night.
“You can go for the classic Elvis look, the modern Bradley Wiggins look, or come up with your own style. You can take part on your own, but it is much more fun if you can get family, friends or colleagues to join you, then you can all get together on Sideburns Night to compare your chops.”
