SANTA met around 30 children earlier this month after he drew in to a Melrose shop on three-wheeled rig pulled by Siberian huskies.
Shoppers donated £80 to Cash for Kids and gave £29 to the Scottish sled dog welfare charity as Santa was assisted by Linda Christie of the Scottish Sleddog Society and her dogs.
Marketing manager Ali Szalinska of car dealers Adam Purves, which runs The Whole Lot, said: “We are delighted to have been able to sprinkle some festive magic in the Borders and to support charitable causes at the same time to make this Christmas special for everyone.”
The company recently sold a car for £1,000 which it gave to Macmillan Cancer Care.
