VANDALS have struck at the popular Wilton Lodge Park on the edge of Hawick.
Their target was the putting green where a vehicle was driven round in circles, churning up the area.
The incident took place between Friday and Sunday, and the police have appealed for assistance in tracing those responsible.
A spokesman said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed these incidents taking place or from anyone who has information that could lead to the identification of those responsible.”
