BorderS audiences can enjoy more Baroque music concerts this December, after Passacaglia’s performance of 18th-century French composers Marais, Couperin and Rameau at Kelso Old Parish Church at 7.30pm tomorrow (tickets £12).
Masters of the violin and harpsichord, Duo Dorado, will play music by Vivaldi (including Summer from the Four Seasons), Bach, Purcell, Corelli and Gottfried Finger at Peebles’ Eastgate Theatre on Friday, December 14, at 7.30pm.

The Abbey Consort perform Handel’s Messiah at Jedburgh Old and Trinity Parish Church on Sunday, December 16, at 7pm. The 24-strong Kelso group welcome back soloists Carole Clarke (alto), Mike Towers (tenor) and Dominic Barberi (baritone), who have all sung with the choir several times.
Tickets are £10 at the door, and accompanied children enter free. All profits are donated to charitable causes.
